Thank goodness my brother doesn't read my blog. He's been away camping for the last two weeks and is coming back tomorrow, so I've been doing my own camping out in the forbidden land that is his room.
Downstairs we have guests sleeping in the guest room, which is where I
usually sleep because the mattress is soooo soft -- you can sink right
into it! It's probably not very good for your back, but... it's soooo
soft. Anyways, since that room is occupied, I'm sleeping in Ken's room
because it's the only other room available other than mine, but my room
has no Internet connection; it's the only room in the house without
Internet connection in fact. That won't do, because I need wifi so that I
can reblog all the #lovewins posts on Tumblr from my phone.
Tumblr sucks me in; there's no escape. I lay there in the dark with the screen illuminating my face. I keep scrolling, reblogging rainbows, liking, loving down my dashboard until the early morning. The darkness lightens, the birds start chirping, and I'm still scrolling.

Thank you to everyone who left a comment in my last 52 Mornings post, a 52 Project progress report. Everyone has been so supportive of both me and the project; I'm so lucky to have people like you here! I've read every single comment, but as I'm on vacation, my replies are coming slowly but surely.
At the end of the post, I wrote that I was hoping for a certain response as I pressed the publish button. Writing with discontent and looking back on my previous 24 mornings, I realized that although the project didn't become what I intended it to be, it was still really cool seeing where I was all those past Sundays. Stepping back and looking at the bigger picture, seeing all those mornings pieced together, gave me newfound motivation to keep on keepin' on. So at least for now, I'm still here!
